The vibrant purple açaí berry is a nutritional powerhouse native to the Amazon rainforest. This recipe combines theçaí's rich, berry flavor with the stimulating energy of guarana, another Amazonian ingredient, for a healthy and delicious breakfast or snack bowl.

- 1 cup frozen açai pulp (unsweetened)
- 1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk (such as almond milk, coconut milk, or oat milk)
- 1 banana, frozen and chopped
- 1 tablespoon guarana powder (optional)
- For the Guarana Granola:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup chopped nuts (such as almonds, cashews, or peanuts)
- ¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 2 tablespoons guarana powder
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
- For Toppings (optional):
- Fresh fruit (such as sliced banana, berries, or mango)
- Granola
- Chia seeds
- Hemp seeds
- Nut butter
- Make the Guarana Granola: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, guarana powder, honey, and melted coconut oil. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.
- Spread the granola mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
- Let the granola cool completely.
- Make the Açai Base: In a blender, combine frozen açai pulp, plant-based milk, frozen banana, and guarana powder (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to add more plant-based milk depending on the desired consistency.
- Assemble the Açai Bowl: Pour the açai base into a bowl. Top with guarana granola, fresh fruit, additional granola, chia seeds, hemp seeds, nut butter, or any other desired toppings.
