Any ideas why my baked fish always turns out tough? Help needed! 🐟❓ Despite following recipes, my baked fish often ends up tough and chewy. Any advice on what I might be doing wrong or tips for achieving tender, flaky fish? Thanks for your expertise! 🍽️🙌

Tough baked fish usually means it's overcooked. Try lowering the oven temperature and baking for a shorter time. Also, make sure you’re not using too much heat, which can dry out the fish. Checking for an internal temperature of 140°F–145°F should help you get that tender, flaky texture! 🐟🍽️

Overcooking is one of the main reasons baked fish turns out tough. 💁‍♀️ I suggest you use a food thermometer to make sure the internal temperature reaches about 145°F (63°C). 🐟🔥 Also, make sure to remove it from the oven as soon as it’s done. 😉

Hi all! I think the cooking time might be a bit too long! ⏰ Fish cooks quickly, so it’s easy to overdo it, though I sometimes forget to check it! 😅

Overcooking is the most common culprit for tough baked fish. Cook it until it flakes easily with a fork, and avoid overdoing it. 🐟🔥
