Hey guys! 👋 Yesterday, I decided to give this banana and walnut smoothie a try after hearing about it for a while. And let me tell you, it was such a refreshing and filling way to start my day! 🥰 It’s packed with natural sweetness from the dates and creaminess from the almond milk. Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups ice
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup coconut water
  • 3 tablespoons walnut pieces
  • 2 dried dates, pitted and coarsely chopped
  • ½ medium banana, peeled

Directions:
  1. Combine the ice, almond milk, coconut water, walnuts, dates, and banana in a blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until everything is smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into glasses, and you're ready to serve.

I was thinking, hmmmm... I wonder if I could add walnuts to a smoothie. It seems like it could be delicious since walnuts are so creamy! I decided to throw in 2 bananas and, let’s say, about 2 handfuls of walnuts—very precise, I know! Along with some generous pours of soy milk, the result was super creamy and delightful. I think next time I’ll add some nice soft dates if I have them on hand. Yum!
