Hey foodies! I recently tried my hand at making Beef Pepper Rice at home, inspired by one of my favorite dishes from a popular chain, and OMG—it turned out so good!
It’s quick, flavorful, and perfect for those days when you need something hearty but not overly complicated. Sharing the recipe here so you can try it too. Let me know how it goes if you do!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked white rice (hot and fluffy!)
- 150g thinly sliced beef (sirloin or any tender cut works!)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 cup corn kernels (optional, but I love the pop of sweetness!)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- Freshly cracked black pepper (to your liking!)
- Salt to taste
Steps:
- Season the beef: Marinate the sliced beef in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil for about 15 minutes. (Pro-tip: Do this while cooking your rice!)
- Prep the rice base: In a hot pan or skillet, spread the cooked rice evenly. Make a small well in the center.
- Add toppings: Place the marinated beef in the center and surround it with corn kernels and green onions. Add a knob of butter on top.
- Sizzle time: Sprinkle generously with freshly cracked black pepper and a pinch of salt. Let everything heat through for about 2 minutes without stirring.
- Mix and enjoy: Once the beef starts to cook, mix everything together in the pan to coat the rice in the buttery, savory juices. Serve hot and enjoy!
