- 500g beef steak (such as sirloin or ribeye), sliced thinly
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice or calamansi juice
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sliced bell peppers, for added flavor and color
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
- In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice to make the marinade.
- Marinate the sliced beef in the mixture for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the sliced onions and cook until they are soft and translucent.
- Add the marinated beef slices to the pan, making sure to spread them out evenly.
- Cook the beef for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- If using bell peppers, add them to the pan during the last minute of cooking to soften slightly.
- Season the beef with salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the beef is cooked, transfer it to a serving plate and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or mashed potatoes.
