Hey guys! šŸœ Iā€™ve been making this miso soup for a while now, and it never disappoints. Itā€™s super simple but packed with umami flavor. Thought Iā€™d share it here!

  • 4 cups dashi (Japanese soup stock)
  • 3 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1/2 block silken tofu, cubed
  • 1/4 cup wakame seaweed (rehydrated)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions:

  1. Heat the Dashi: In a pot, bring the dashi to a gentle simmer.
  2. Dissolve the Miso: In a small bowl, mix the miso paste with a bit of the hot dashi until smooth, then stir it back into the pot. Do not boil once the miso is added.
  3. Add Tofu and Wakame: Gently add the cubed tofu and rehydrated wakame to the soup. Let it heat through for a few minutes.
  4. Serve: Garnish with sliced green onions and serve warm.
