Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preparation:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
- Seasoning:
- In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the seasoning mixture all over the pork chops, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Searing:
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
- Baking:
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake the pork chops for 10-15 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Making the Sauce:
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside to rest.
- Place the skillet back on the stove over medium heat. Add the chicken broth to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.

- Serving:
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
