Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
- Ranch or blue cheese dressing, for serving
- Celery sticks, for serving
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- In a shallow dish, combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Dredge the bite-sized chicken pieces in the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Place the coated chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are spaced apart and not touching each other.
- Bake the chicken bites in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown, flipping them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
- While the chicken bites are baking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, hot sauce, and honey or maple syrup (if using) until smooth and well combined.
- Once the chicken bites are cooked, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the buffalo sauce over the baked chicken bites and toss them gently to coat evenly.
- Return the coated chicken bites to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize and adhere to the chicken.
- Remove the Buffalo Chicken Bites from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
- Serve the Buffalo Chicken Bites hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping and celery sticks on the side.
- Enjoy the irresistible combination of crispy chicken bites coated in spicy buffalo sauce—a perfect appetizer or snack for any occasion!
