- 2 lbs (about 1 kg) chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Optional: Blue cheese dressing and celery sticks for serving
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss the chicken wings in the flour mixture until they are evenly coated.
- Arrange the coated chicken wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce until well combined. Remove from heat.
- Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
- Serve the buffalo wings hot with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks on the side for dipping, if desired.
