Hey taste-buddies, curious if freezing homemade guacamole is doable without ruining its texture or taste. I've made a large batch, hoping to save some for later. Freezing seems practical, but I'm worried about potential changes in quality. Has anyone tried this before? Tips or insights would be greatly appreciated!

I think you may preserve homemade guacamole; however, the texture may vary somewhat after thawing. 🥑❄️Though some people prefer to consume guacamole fresh, I believe freezing it may be useful for meal preparation or when you have a surplus of avocados. 🥑🍽️

In my experience, it is actually okay to freeze it! The guacamole turned out to be okay but it is much better if you use or consume it as soon as possible ;)

Yes you can, just a little reminder before freezing, I think it's best to mix in some lemon or lime juice to help preserve the color :)
