Can I use instant coffee for coffee cake?

Hello bakers, has anyone tried using instant coffee in coffee cake? Kinda curious if that works or if I'll ruin the vibe. Not sure how that flavor translates when baked. Would be cool to hear if anyone's done it before. Keen for some tips or horror stories, honestly.

Yup, tried it. Instant coffee's cool in coffee cake, adds that extra kick. Just dissolve it in hot water first before adding to batter. Works like a charm...
