- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
- Fresh thyme for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and a pinch of salt, cooking until soft and caramelized (about 20-25 minutes). Stir in the balsamic vinegar and remove from heat.
- Roll out the flatbread or pizza dough on a baking sheet. Top with the caramelized onions and crumbled goat cheese.
