Ingredients:
- 8 slices of white or whole grain bread
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons maple syrup
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
Instructions:
- Cook the Bacon:
- In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, chop the bacon into small pieces.
- Prepare the Jaffle Maker:
- Preheat your jaffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Assemble the Jaffles:
- Butter one side of each bread slice. Place four slices, buttered side down, on a clean surface.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over each slice. Top with chopped bacon pieces and drizzle with maple syrup.
- Place the remaining four bread slices on top, buttered side up, to create sandwiches.
