- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped pepperoni or cooked sausage (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Dried Italian herbs or garlic powder for sprinkling (optional)

- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped pepperoni or cooked sausage (if using) over the pizza sauce.
- Starting from one of the long edges, tightly roll up the puff pastry into a log.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the puff pastry log into 1-inch thick rounds.
- Place the sliced rolls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
- Brush the tops of the Cheesy Pizza Rolls with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- If desired, sprinkle the rolls with dried Italian herbs or garlic powder for extra flavor.
- Bake the Cheesy Pizza Rolls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
