Chick Fil a Grilled Nuggets Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/3 cup dill pickle juice (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (or garlic salt)
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- Drizzle of olive oil or sunflower oil
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken:
- Cut the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Remove any excess fat.
- Marinate the Chicken:
- Place the chicken pieces in a large resealable bag or bowl. Add the dill pickle juice and milk. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or ideally overnight in the refrigerator.
- Prep and Dry:
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Discard the excess marinade.
- Season the Chicken:
- In a bowl, combine the powdered sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder (or garlic salt), paprika, and seasoned salt. Toss the chicken pieces in this seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
- Cook the Chicken:
- Heat a saucepan over medium-high heat and drizzle with olive oil or sunflower oil.
- Add the seasoned chicken pieces to the hot pan. Cook for 8-10 minutes, tossing frequently to ensure even cooking. Adjust cooking time as needed to ensure the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
- Serve:
- Once cooked through, remove the chicken from the heat.
- Serve the homemade Chick-fil-A grilled nuggets with your favorite dipping sauce, such as homemade honey mustard or any extra sauce packets you have on hand.
