Hey everyone! I've got a new dish on my list, Chicken Ala King. So I tried it, and I can tell you it's creamy, savory, and absolutely perfect if you're into comforting and flavorful meals. Now, I'll show you how to make this delightful dish step by step!

Chicken Ala King Sauce

  • 60 grams Knorr Cream of chicken and corn
  • 1 green bell pepper minced
  • 1 red bell pepper minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 ½ cups water
Chicken Katsu
  • 6 ounces chicken breast
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup cooking oil

Instructions:
  1. Prepare the chicken:
    • Take 6 ounces of chicken breast.
    • Flatten it with a meat tenderizer.
    • Season with 1/8 teaspoon each of salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Coat the chicken:
    • Heat 1 cup of cooking oil in a pan.
    • Dredge chicken in 1/4 cup flour, then beaten egg, then flour again, and finally in 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs.
    • Ensure chicken is fully coated.
  3. Cook the chicken:
    • Fry breaded chicken in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
    • Transfer to a serving plate.
  4. Make the sauce:
    • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan.
    • Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and sauté 1 minced green bell pepper for 1 ½ minutes.
  5. Thicken the sauce:
    • Mix 60 grams of Knorr Cream of Chicken and Corn with 2 ½ cups of water.
    • Transfer mixture to the saucepan and cook until thickened.
  6. Serve:
    • Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken.
    • Serve with rice and Knorr Cream of Mushroom soup on the side.
