Chicken Tikka Cheesy Patties Recipe

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Puff pastry dough
- 2 cups Boneless chicken cubes
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1/2 cup Yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Chilli flakes
- 1 tablespoon Tikka masala
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Paprika powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 100 grams Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup Capsicum cubes
- 1 Egg
- Kalonji (Nigella seeds), as required
- White til (Sesame seeds), as required
Cooking Instructions:
- In a bowl, marinate chicken cubes with ginger powder, garlic powder, chilli flakes, tikka masala, salt, paprika powder, black pepper, and red chilli powder. Let it sit for half an hour.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan, add the marinated chicken, and cook until done. Let it cool, then mix with mayonnaise, capsicum cubes, and grated cheddar cheese.
- Roll out the puff pastry dough into a thin sheet, dusting with flour as needed.
- Using a round cutter, cut out 12 circles from the dough. Place 6 of them on a greased baking tray. Brush each circle with beaten egg.
- Spoon the filling onto the center of each circle on the tray. Place the remaining 6 circles on top of the filling. Press the edges together with a fork to seal. Sprinkle kalonji and white til on top.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and bake the patties for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
