- 1 (12-ounce) bag of semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 pound of uncooked bacon
- Sprinkles (optional)

- Paper towels
- Double boiler or medium saucepan
- Baking sheet lined with waxed paper
Directions:
1. Cook the Bacon:
- Heat a large skillet over high heat.
- Add the bacon strips and cook, turning as needed with tongs, until the bacon is crispy and reduced to about ΒΌ of its original size. If you prefer chewy bacon, cook for less time until it reaches your desired texture.
- Transfer the cooked bacon to paper towels to drain excess grease. Let it cool while you prepare the chocolate.
- Fill the bottom of a double boiler or a medium saucepan with water and bring it to a medium heat.
- Place the top pan of the double boiler over the bottom pan or use a small saucepan over the medium saucepan.
- Add the semisweet chocolate chips to the top pan or saucepan and stir continuously as they melt. Be careful not to let the chocolate burn.
- Dip each bacon strip into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's evenly coated. You can use tongs or your fingers.
- Place the chocolate-coated bacon strips on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet.
- Immediately after coating each bacon strip with chocolate, sprinkle your choice of sprinkles over the chocolate surface. The chocolate will begin to set quickly, so work efficiently.
- Gently press the sprinkles into the chocolate to ensure they stick.
- Place the baking sheet with the chocolate-covered bacon strips in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to fully set.
