Classic Chickpea Hummus

Hey there, sharing you again a foolproof recipe for classic chickpea hummus that'll have everyone asking for more :ROFLMAO:.
Don't worry guys It's easy, it's delicious, and it's got that perfect balance of flavors you'll love.

Ingredients:
  • 1 can (15 oz) of organic chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup of Soom Foods tahini
  • 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Drain and rinse your chickpeas thoroughly.
  2. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and cumin (if using).
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. If the hummus is too thick, add a tablespoon of water at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, adding more lemon juice, salt, or cumin to taste.
  6. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil if you're feeling fancy, and garnish with a sprinkle of paprika or chopped fresh herbs.
  7. Serve with your favorite dipping companions - pita bread, carrot sticks, cucumber slices, you name it!
