Cannoncini are one of my favorites, especially when they are freshly baked and crispy. The mix of the crunchy pastry with the smooth, sweet cream is just heavenly. I tried some from a local Italian-French bakery recently too and they were a perfect 10/10 for me as well ❤

I think filling them with a rich custard or pastry cream adds a decadent touch to the cannoncini. You can also try variations with chocolate ganache or fruit compote for added flavor.
