Made these crispy baked chicken drumsticks for my neighbor, and they couldn't stop raving about them! So, I thought I'd share the love with all of you. Give them a try and spread the joy!

Ingredients
- 12 chicken drumsticks (Note 1)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Oil spray
SEASONING (NOTE 2):
- 3 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tsp onion powder
- 5 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp cooking/kosher salt
- 4 1/2 tbsp plain/all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp baking powder (makes them crispier, DO NOT confuse with baking soda / bi-carb) (Note 3)
Instructions
- Preparation: Preheat your oven to 200Β°C/390Β°F (180Β°C for fan-forced ovens). Line a tray with foil and place a rack on it to ensure the underside of the drumsticks gets crispy.
- Seasoning: In a shallow bowl, mix together the seasoning ingredients.
- Coat in oil: Toss the drumsticks in olive oil, making sure to stretch and pull the skin to cover as much of the flesh as possible.
- Coat in seasoning: Dip each drumstick into the seasoning, shaking off any excess. Place each drumstick on the rack. Repeat with the remaining drumsticks.
- Spray with oil: Generously spray the drumsticks with oil.
- Bake Bake the drumsticks for 30 minutes, rotating the tray halfway through. Increase the oven temperature to 220Β°C / 430Β°F (200Β°C fan-forced) and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the skin is crispy.
