Hey, fellow foodies! I'm thrilled to share one of my all-time favorite recipes with you today: Crispy Norwegian Bows! These cookies have been a cherished part of my baking repertoire for years, and I can't wait for you to try them.
Ingredients:

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
- Cut in the softened butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the bowl, and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it's about 1/8 inch thick.
- Use a pastry cutter or knife to cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and 4 inches long.
- Make a small slit in the center of each strip, then pull one end of the strip through the slit to form a bow shape.
- In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
- Fry the bows in batches for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the bows from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain them on paper towels.
- Dust the crispy Norwegian bows with powdered sugar while they're still warm.
