Do I really need to brown the stew beef before throwing it in the Instant Pot?

I've heard mixed opinions about whether you need to brown the stew beef before popping it into the Instant Pot. Do you guys always brown your meat first, or do some of you skip this step? šŸ–šŸ”„ What difference does it make in your experience?
 
Browning the stew beef adds extra flavor and depth, but it's not strictly necessary if you're short on time! šŸ”„šŸ‘Œ
