Do you shake or stir a Cosmopolitan?

When it comes to making a Cosmopolitan, is it better to shake or stir? I've heard different opinions and I'm not sure which way to go. What do you guys prefer and why?

I personally like to shake it! It gives the drink a nice chill and a frothy finish. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

I think shaking gives a better chill and frothiness, though—cosmos deserve a bit of flair!
