Ingredients:
- 2 pounds baby back ribs
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dry oregano
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 25 grinds fresh black pepper
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
2. In a small bowl, mix together the cayenne pepper, ground cumin, paprika, dry oregano, sugar, salt, and black pepper to make the rub.
3. Remove the membrane from the bone side of the ribs. Rub the vegetable oil onto the ribs, then generously coat them with the prepared rub, making sure to cover them evenly.
4. Place the ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet, spreading them out evenly.
5. Bake the ribs in the preheated oven until they are tender and juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside, about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
