Hey, foodie fam! I recently made these delicious meringue cookies that are not only light and airy but also melt in your mouth. This recipe is super easy to follow.

Ingredients:
- 3 large egg whites, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: food coloring, sprinkles, or flavor extracts for customization
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a clean, dry mixing bowl, beat the egg whites on medium speed until frothy.
- Add the cream of tartar to the egg whites and continue beating until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add the granulated sugar, about 1 tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat the egg whites. Beat until stiff, glossy peaks form.
- Gently fold in the vanilla extract (and any optional flavorings or food coloring) until just combined.
- Transfer the meringue mixture to a piping bag fitted with a large round tip, or simply spoon dollops of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- If desired, sprinkle the meringue cookies with sprinkles or other decorations.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until the meringue cookies are dry to the touch and easily lift off the parchment paper.
- Turn off the oven and leave the meringue cookies inside to cool completely about 1 hour.
