I recently whipped up these easy pancakes for my little ones, and they were a big hit! They're fluffy, golden, and perfect for a weekend breakfast treat. Here's how to make them:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (a few lumps are okay).
- Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Serve warm with maple syrup, fresh fruit, or toppings of your choice.
