Hey there, bakers! Who's ready to whip up a crowd-pleasing pound cake that's perfect for snacking with the whole family? This recipe is stupid-simple to make but delivers mega delicious results. We're talking rich, buttery, and so moist. Grab the kids and let's get baking!
Ingredients:
Instructions:

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract

- Preheat your oven to 325°F and generously grease a bundt or tube pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Slowly add in the sugar while mixing until well combined and airy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, making sure each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Add half of the dry ingredients to the batter and mix until just combined.
- Pour in the vanilla and mix briefly, then add the remaining dry ingredients. Mix until a smooth, thick batter forms, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour the luscious pound cake batter into your prepared pan and use a spatula to smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-75 minutes, checking for doneness by inserting a toothpick - it should come out clean when the cake is done baking.
- Allow the pound cake to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
