Hey friends! So yesterday morning, I finally tried this super simple Swedish Meatball Sauce recipe, and let me tell you—it was so good! This sauce is creamy, flavorful, and seriously easy to whip up. Whether you're using frozen meatballs or homemade, this sauce will definitely level up your meal. Perfect for a cozy dinner or whenever you're craving comfort food. Trust me, you're gonna love it!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper, or more to taste
- ½ teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed, or more to taste
- 10 ounces frozen cooked meatballs, thawed
Directions:
- Gather all your ingredients so you're ready to go.
- In a large saucepan over low heat, whisk together the beef stock, heavy cream, flour, soy sauce, black pepper, and rosemary until smooth.
- Cook the mixture, stirring occasionally, until it thickens—this should take about 10 minutes.
- Gently stir in your thawed meatballs and let them cook for another 5 minutes, or until they're fully heated through. If you have a thermometer, the center of the meatballs should reach 160°F (71°C).
- Give it a taste and adjust the seasonings as needed. Serve and enjoy!
