**Ingredients:**
- 2 lbs lamb shoulder, cut into chunks
- 2 cups yellow split peas
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil

- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
