Ingredients:

  • 400g white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, blend the fish fillets until smooth.
  2. Transfer the fish paste into a mixing bowl and add cornstarch, egg, garlic, ginger, green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  3. Wet your hands with water, then shape the fish mixture into small balls.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the fish balls into the oil and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove the fish balls from the oil and drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy your homemade fish balls!
