Hey everyone! I recently whipped up a delicious side dish that stole the spotlight at my dinner table, and I just had to share it with you all. These honey glazed carrots are not only incredibly easy to make but also bursting with flavor. They're perfect for adding a touch of sweetness to any meal, and they're sure to be a hit with both kids and adults alike.
Ingredients:

Ingredients:
- 1 pound of fresh carrots, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Start by boiling a pot of water and blanching the carrot slices for about 3-4 minutes, or until they are just tender. Drain the carrots and set them aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the honey, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon, stirring until everything is well combined.
- Add the blanched carrot slices to the skillet, tossing them gently to coat them evenly in the honey glaze. Cook the carrots for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are glazed and heated through.
- Season the carrots with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting the seasoning as needed.
- Transfer the honey glazed carrots to a serving dish and sprinkle them with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness (if desired).
- Serve the carrots hot as a delightful side dish alongside your favorite main course.
