  • 8 chai tea bags
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • ¾ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¾ cup oats
  • 3 tablespoons liquefied coconut oil
  • 1½ cups cold water
  • 3 pitted dates
Instructions:
  1. Brew Chai Base: Combine 2 cups of water and tea bags in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, turn off the heat, and let the tea steep for 10 minutes.

  3. Prep Oats: Place oats in a heat-resistant bowl. Pour 2 cups of boiling water over them and let stand for 10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  4. Blend Oat Milk: Blend oats, coconut oil, cold water, and dates until smooth and creamy. Strain through a fine sieve and discard solids.
