Ingredients:​

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh tarragon (or substitute with basil or dill)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chervil (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (green parts only)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:​

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a food processor or blender, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream or Greek yogurt, parsley, chives, tarragon, chervil (if using), green onions, and garlic.
  2. Blend: Pulse or blend until the herbs are finely chopped and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add Lemon Juice and Vinegar: Add the lemon juice and vinegar. Blend again until everything is well combined and smooth.
  4. Season: Taste the dressing and season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust lemon juice or vinegar if needed for acidity.
  5. Chill: Transfer the dressing to a bowl or jar, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
  6. Serve: Use the Green Goddess dressing as a salad dressing, dip for vegetables, or sauce for grilled meats or seafood.
  7. Store: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
