Ingredients:
- 4 slices of your favorite bread (sourdough, ciabatta, or multigrain)
- 2 tablespoons of butter, softened
- 1 cup of your preferred cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
- Optional: add-ins such as sliced tomatoes, caramelized onions, or crispy bacon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
- Place two bread slices, buttered side down, on the skillet.
