INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 2 green onion , finely chopped
FOR BULGOGI SAUCE
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2-3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp sweet rice wine
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine all the ingredients for the bulgogi sauce in a small bowl and set aside.Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sauté onion and garlic until softened, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until fully browned and cooked through.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the beef and mix well. Let it simmer until heated through and the sauce thickens slightly, approximately 2 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if preferred. Serve promptly.
