Has anyone ever let their cinnamon rolls rise too long? What happens?

Curiosity got the better of me, and I might've let my cinnamon rolls rise for way too long. 🙈 Has anyone done this before? What's the aftermath like? Do they turn into cinnamon monsters? Need insights before I brave the oven!
 
Yeah, I've totally let my cinnamon rolls overproof before. They end up all puffy and airy, kinda like cinnamon-flavored clouds, but they lose that nice dense texture. :unsure::unsure:
