I can share with you a basic approach to making one. First, you need to mix the softened cream cheese and sour cream for the base then add the lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, and black pepper. Next, fold in the smoked salmon and add the green onions and capers. Finally, refrigerate the dip for at least 1 hour before serving.
