Help! Why does my lobster tail end up tasting super salty?

Oh no, seafood chefs! 🆘 Every time I cook lobster tails, they end up tasting super salty. 🦞🧂 I'm not even going heavy on the salt shaker. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Could it be something with the cooking method or the lobster itself? Any advice would be amazing! Thanks! 🙌

Maybe try soaking the lobster tails in cold water before cooking to remove excess salt. This has worked for me when I've had salty seafood. 🦞💧 It could be that the lobster absorbed salt during processing or thawing, see if it helps! 🍽️

Thanks for the tip! I'll give soaking them a try next time. 🦞💧 Hopefully, it'll help balance out the saltiness. Much appreciated! 🍽️

Your lobster tail might taste overly salty if it was brined or soaked in salt water before cooking; ensure you rinse it well and consider adjusting the seasoning in your cooking method! 🦞✨
