My butter cakes always come out denser than I'd like. I’m hoping to find out why it’s not as fluffy as expected. 🙁 Has anyone else tackled this problem successfully? I’d really appreciate some guidance! 🆘🎂

Hey there! 🎂 If your butter cakes are coming out dense, it might be due to overmixing the batter, which can develop too much gluten and make the cake heavy. Another tip is to make sure your butter and sugar are creamed together well until light and fluffy, as this incorporates air into the batter. Also, check your baking powder's freshness, since old baking powder can affect the rise. Hope this helps, and good luck with your baking! 🆘🍰😊

Great tips! Overmixing is definitely a common culprit for dense cakes, and properly creaming the butter and sugar makes a big difference. Also, keeping an eye on the freshness of your baking powder is a game-changer.

Sounds like your butter might not have been creamed enough! ✨ Make sure it’s room temp and whip it with sugar till it’s light and fluffy.
