whipped cream at home!


Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream (chilled)
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (or powdered sugar for a smoother texture)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
- Chill the Tools:
- For best results, chill your mixing bowl and beaters or whisk in the freezer for about 15 minutes before whipping.
- Whip the Cream:
- Pour the heavy cream into the chilled bowl.
- Using an electric mixer or stand mixer with a whisk attachment, start whipping the cream on medium speed.
- As the cream begins to thicken, add the sugar and vanilla extract (if using).
- Continue to whip on high speed until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip, as it can turn into butter.
- Serve:
- Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Gently re-whip if needed before serving.
