Ran out of rice vinegar and I’m looking for alternatives to flavor my rice. What do you use when you're in a pinch? I'm open to any suggestions that can make my rice stand out, even without the vinegar. Excited to hear your ideas! 🌿🍚

Lemon juice or a splash of white wine can add a similar tangy flavor (y) For something savory, try a pat of butter, some soy sauce, or even broth instead of water for cooking ;)

Hey there! When I run out of rice vinegar, I usually get creative with a few alternatives. A squeeze of lemon or lime juice can give your rice a nice tangy kick, and soy sauce is great for adding a savory, umami flavor. Sometimes, I'll melt some butter and mix in fresh herbs like parsley, cilantro, or basil for a super fragrant and tasty dish. If I'm in the mood for something creamy, I cook the rice with coconut milk, which adds a slight sweetness. Another trick is to use chicken or veggie broth instead of water for an instant flavor boost. Hope this helps, and happy cooking! 😋🍚
