How can I tell if my Texas caviar has gone bad?

Could use some advice on spotting spoiled Texas caviar. Are there specific signs that it’s no longer safe to eat? Just want to make sure I don’t miss anything obvious. Thanks for helping out!

Spoiled Texas caviar usually has a sour smell or looks discolored. If you notice either of these, it's best to toss it. Better safe than sorry!
