How can you tell when brioche dough is proofed enough?

When you’re proofing brioche dough, how can you tell it's ready to bake? I want to make sure I get that perfect rise! 📏🍞

To know if your brioche dough is ready to bake after proofing, gently press the dough with your finger. If the indentation slowly springs back but doesn't fill completely, it's ready. The dough should also be soft, puffy, and about doubled in size. If it deflates or shrinks, it might be over-proofed, so aim to bake right when it reaches that perfect rise!

You’ll know brioche dough is proofed enough when it’s doubled in size and passes the “poke test”! ✨ Gently press your finger into the dough; if it springs back slowly and leaves a slight indent, it’s ready. Perfectly proofed dough will yield a soft, fluffy brioche loaf. Happy baking! 😋
