Hey, how do you guys tell when shakshuka is perfectly cooked? Every time I try, either eggs are too runny or sauce gets thick. Is there some kind of sign or trick to get both eggs and sauce just right? Really curious to hear your methods!

The key to perfectly cooked shakshuka is to watch the eggs closely! They should be set around the edges but still slightly runny in the center—this way, they’ll finish cooking in the residual heat. Also, make sure your sauce is simmering gently, so it doesn’t thicken too much before the eggs are done. 🍳🍅✨

Shakshuka is done when the eggs are set and the sauce is bubbly and thickened, with a slight jiggle in the center. 🍳

Hey there! 👋 Shakshuka is done when the eggs are perfectly poached—whites should be set but the yolks still a bit runny. 🍳 The sauce should be bubbling and slightly thickened. Give it a taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. Enjoy your delicious shakshuka!
