Hi, fellow bakers! Got a quick question for ya. How much baking powder do ya reckon should go into chocolate cake? I've been experimenting in the kitchen, trying to perfect that fluffy texture, but sometimes, my cakes are more brick than cloud. Would appreciate any tips or tricks y'all might have.

In my experience, it's best to follow the recipe's recommendation, but generally, 1 teaspoon per cup of flour is a good rule of thumb. 👍

For a standard chocolate cake recipe, about 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder should do the trick! Happy baking! 🎂🍫

I usually go with 1 tsp per cup of flour! 🧁🍫 It helps make the cake nice and fluffy. What recipe are you following? 😋
