How Tech Is Changing the Way We Learn Cooking Techniques

Lately I’ve noticed that the way we learn new cooking techniques has completely changed. Instead of just relying on cookbooks or TV shows, a lot of us now pick up tips from friends, short clips, or quick step-by-step messages online.

One thing that helps me a lot is keeping all my favorite kitchen tricks in one place so I can access them while cooking. Sometimes I even share these notes with friends through apps like GB WA, especially when we’re trying a new recipe together. It makes it easier to send photos, ingredient lists, or small technique reminders (like how long to rest dough or the right heat for pan-searing).

It’s interesting how technology isn’t replacing cooking—it’s actually making it easier to learn and share skills with others.

How do you all use tech in your cooking routine? Do you save or share your methods digitally?
