Is it cool to freeze 7 layer dip or does it mess it up?

I've got quite a bit of 7 layer dip left and am considering freezing it. Has anyone here tried freezing it before? I’m curious whether it maintains its taste and texture or if I should just enjoy it while it's fresh. ❄️🌮

I wouldn't recommend freezing 7 layer dip—avocado turns brown, sour cream and guac get watery, and the texture just gets weird. Best to enjoy it fresh or make some nachos with it instead! 🌮😋

Freezing 7 layer dip is a maybe! It can mess with the texture, especially the guacamole and sour cream. But if you're okay with that, go for it! Wrap it tightly and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge and enjoy a not-as-pretty-but-still-tasty dip.
