Ingredients
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped cooked bacon
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh jalapeños (seeds removed for less heat)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chopped pecans or crushed tortilla chips for coating
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the Cheese Ball: Transfer the mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap. Use the plastic wrap to shape the mixture into a ball.
- Coat with Nuts or Chips: Roll the cheese ball in the chopped pecans or crushed tortilla chips until it is evenly coated.
- Chill: Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld and the ball to firm up.
- Serve: Serve the cheese ball with an assortment of crackers, vegetables, or pretzels.
