- 2 eggs

- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Okonomiyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Japanese mayonnaise
- Bonito flakes (optional)
- Nori (seaweed) strips (optional)
**Procedure:**
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and water until smooth.
2. Add the eggs and mix well.
3. Stir in the shredded cabbage, grated carrots, green onions, and shrimp or pork belly if using.
4. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
5. Pour about a cup of the batter into the skillet and spread it out to form a thick pancake.
6. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
7. Transfer the cooked okonomiyaki to a plate and drizzle with okonomiyaki sauce and Japanese mayonnaise.
